I'm such a sucker for red...

I found this pine chest of drawers at Deseret Industries on Monday. It didn't have any knobs, so it was a pretty good price!

Thankfully I had found a great deal on some brushed nickel knobs at a garage sale a few weeks ago. The chest "spoke" to me and said, "I want to be red!"

So red she is!

The chest had some nicks and scars, so I used a black antiquing glaze over the paint to highlight its natural distressing! Hey, if you've got it...flaunt it!

I love it when a piece "speaks" to me! This one looks great in red - nicely done!

Very nice! As red as a Maine Lobstah, love it! I am doing a piece like this and just picked out the paint today. I was deciding between red and sage. See my blog later this weekend to see what I chose!;)Love it!
