My love affair with numbers on furniture is well-documented!
One of my earliest projects was a numbered--and lettered--desk and chair (click on images to be taken to the blog post):
Then there have been several sets of barstools:
A couple of tables (Roman numerals still count!):
…and even a chest of drawers.
So although I fell head over heels for this set of old wooden folding chairs at my favorite consignment shop last fall,
…I thought they could be improved a little—with numbers.
Yes, this is what I do with the nervous energy that remains after the holidays!
These chairs have been featured at It’s So Very Cheri and {Primp}!

I love how you personalize everything! I have some children's chairs a customer just bought. I'm hoping I can talk her into numbering them. Your chairs look perfect! Deb
I love it! I especially love those wooden chairs, very cool! Have a wonderful weekend.
that last pair of chairs is awesome! i can see them on a front porch of a rowhome- so cool!
all of these are awesome- you are so good at what you do!
I love your folding chairs! Very cool!
Yup, I love those chairs too. The numbers completely make them cool and vintage!
The numbers add a special touch to the chairs. How do you decide which numbers to use? ♥
Those chairs are too cool. The numbers add to the coolness!
You are too funny! Have a great weekend.
Love the numberged pieces! What type of stencils did you use on these...or did you use the projector again...hehe :) patti
(ps I'm still hoping to find one)
Love IT!!!!
Korrie seriously we are two ships sailing on the same course! Your with numbers, me with letters! Love all the 'personalizing' and number additions, makes everything so unique and adds so much character.
I just love everything you make!!! Your personal touches really make the whole piece!

You know, it works! No surprise there! At least you are putting your nervous energy towards something productive. I'm putting all of mine towards eating all of the junk so I won't be tempted by it next week....... I could just throw it away.....
loved it and liked the chairs...great idea...Debb
What a clever and fun thing to do, Korrie! I'm so happy I found your blog via the great blog, Confessions of a Plate Addict! I'll be back to visit soon!
What the heck is it with the numbers? I think it's the graphics... I love graphics especially black and white. I love your chairs... I found 8 old wooden folding chairs on the side of the road with "Bentley" stenciled on the back of each... They remind me of yours!
Susan
You're right on trend. Love the French stools.
Love the chairs, Korrie. :)
It's amazing how adding the numbers really gives the pieces a fresh facelift.
I've got a couple of pieces in the paint line-up, Korrie, but I need to get my Christmas stuff away first. I know that if I start anything I'll never get it done and this is the weekend to get back to normal! Those folding chairs were a great find and I like how you put the numbers off to the corner.
Love those chairs! The numbers just make them perfect! Great work as always!
Holly
Absolutely darling! I love every single one, but for sure the last on the folding chairs is my fav. I'm pinning it! Little Bit from DecorateWithaLittleBit.com

You have a way with words, I mean numbers! These look great and so do all your other projects! You seem to know just what each piece needs!

So cute -- the chairs were definitely cute to begin with but I must agree . . . the numbers take them to a whole new level!
