The Last Straw

I mentioned that changes were coming….can you guess what I was referring to now??

house 001

Yes, the “Red Hen Home” has been listed for sale!  Apparently,  not being able to park the truck in the garage (see it in the driveway?) was the LAST STRAW for my dear husband.  For the first time in eight years, he was ready to talk about moving!

We have found a house we love about 4 miles away from here, and the sellers have accepted our offer for it, contingent upon the sale of our home.

We would appreciate any and all prayers and good wishes on our behalf.  Let me tell you, undertaking a move after 8 years, 6 children, and a staircase remodel is not something we take lightly!

P.S.  If you know of anyone looking to move to the Layton/Clearfield area, please send them my way!

Good luck. I totally understand what you are going through. We are currently packing in preparation for a move just after Christmas. That is not an idea time to be living out of boxes for a crafter. I wish you the best!

Are you moving to get a bigger home? That's what we need, we only have 4 boys but not enough space.
Good luck selling your house! I'm sure after remodeling the stairs it will go!

Best wishes for this to sell quickly and for you to have ease and grace in moving.

You may have heard this but bury a statue of St. Joseph in the front yard, facing down with head toward house. Dear friends are Catholic and they have sold every home quickly by doing this. You can get the small statues easily.

Just imagine how difficult a move would be after 31 years in the same place! We really need to find a house that's not necessarily bigger, but one that has bigger rooms to fit more people. Good luck with selling!

The dilemma I see here is that cool orange door that is being left behind along with the stair case. Good thing the orange door is an easy fix. The stair case on the other hand......

Good luck Korrie! I hope things go quickly and smoothly for you.
